Purple Shirt sponsors UXNZ 2023

As part of Purple Shirt's commitment to seeing New Zealand's UX community thrive we have confirmed sponsorship of UXNZ for the second year in a row.

Since 2015, UX New Zealand has provided an environment to bring Aotearoa’s UX Community together, connecting like minded people doing amazing work across a range of industries and specialties. With local and international speakers delivering impactful talks, sharing their stories and learnings, attendees always leave the conference feeling energised and armed with numerous takeaways to apply in their own work.

Not only do we at Purple Shirt jump at the opportunity to get amongst anything that Optimal Workshop is a part of, there are clear symmetries between UX New Zealand and Purple Shirt’s purpose and values. UX New Zealand exists because Optimal Workshop wanted to create a world class event that their people could attend domestically. Purple Shirt is passionate about enabling intellectual companionship with others. Not only does this provide opportunities for meaningful connections, it helps individuals to unlock their potential to be their best and deliver work that is thought provoking and purpose driven. It probably comes as no surprise then that we jumped at the chance to return as a partner for UXNZ 2023, and are super proud to be playing a little part in giving back to this wonderful community.

"UX New Zealand is made possible by the support and generosity of our amazing partners and insightful practitioners. We are thrilled to have Purple Shirt onboard for a second year in a row! We love working collaboratively with our partners to make sure our attendees and speakers get a world class conference experience.” - Sarah, UX New Zealand Events Manager

The cherry on top is having our very own Chris Green, Head of CX & Innovation, on the schedule discussing ‘Innovation Best Practice’ using the Jobs To Be Done Framework. During this discussion you’ll learn how to make sure your organisation is not competing against luck when it brings new products and services to market. Chris was trained by Professor Clayton Christensen, the godfather of modern innovation theory, at Harvard University and you can be assured his talk will be highly informative and create a great starting point for any organisation that is looking to create more value for its customers. Trust us, you don’t want to miss one!
