Re-imagining recruitment
We helped REED overhaul its tech stack, introducing AI, predictive analytics, and a new API gateway, to modernise customer systems, support new business models, and stay competitive in a rapidly evolving job market.
In 1995, REED became the first high street recruitment agency in the UK to have a presence on the web. reed.co.uk is one of the UK’s leading job site and is one of Europe’s biggest job boards.
The REED site has been developed continually since its initial launch, but needed to evolve new business models to keep pace with the new market entrants, as well as deliver services to customers through all delivery channels
We provided expert technical architecture consultancy services to lay the new foundations to build new offerings and to use new technologies to understand and efficiently find and service customers.
Our experts found that root and branch re-design and development of all major customer facing systems was required. By identifying effective newer technologies, such as AI/Machine Learning and Predictive Analysis, In addition, we worked on the implementation of a new API gateway, based on the KONG Enterprise API Gateway platform.
Reed will be able to better target new customers, automate the process of matching roles with candidates more efficiently and support the new business models needed to compete against new entrants with no legacy systems to manage.
